White Coat Ceremony

Mike had his official white coat ceremony yesterday. It was a really great program and they had a few really good speakers. They went through his whole class giving each person their coat and then there was a reception after.

I told Mike to turn and look at me so that I could get a good shot. Clearly this is Mike's I hate that I have to do this face.

Yes I am married to the serious one in the group

Dinner after at Grizzly Peak was wonderful. We pretty much had to roll ourselves out but it was worth it.

Congrats to my amazing husband. He has worked so hard to get to this point and they pointed out so many times to the students that they earned their way into dental school. It was not just given to them or an act of chance. I was really hoping that Mike listened to that part. I have heard him say before that he doesn't know how he got into such a good school. I always get mad at him because I know that he earned it and he worked hard to get this far. He may not think so but I know so. So here we come the next 4 years!!

Our weekend
I finally decided to take some pictures of our outings in Ann Arbor. I went blackberry picking with some of the girls in my ward. It was a pretty dangerous experience. I left with a lot of cuts and scrapes all over my hands. Totally worth it.

Ann Arbor Art Festival

A group of us all got together and went up to campus for the huge art festival. There were a lot of really interesting booths. It was a lot bigger then I was expecting. It was really fun and we lucked out with the weather. It wasn't crazy hot like it had been all week.
This bike was pretty amazing and I honestly wanted to ride it .

 Sunday Walk
Mike humored me with a little Magleby family tradition. We walked around a neighborhood looking at all the houses. It's one of my favorite things to do and he was a very good sport. Here are some of the houses in the cute neighborhood we walked through.

It's A Girl!
So I never did an official blog post about the gender of baby Reid. Gosh I am already a negligent mother. We found out the day before our 2 year anniversary that we are expecting a little miss this October. Was I excited...? I feel like it has been my calling in life to have at least one girl. I mean come on I live for all things cute and bows galore!! Mike is super excited to have a little snuggle bug, but he has already started stressing about who she is going to date. We are just so excited to meet her and she has decided to become very mobile in the last week or so. She gives me lots of loving kicks. Here are some pictures Dayna took of me sporting the beginnings of my baby bump.

She also approves of her gender

Clearly I feel very comfortable about this picture

It's really hard to have Mike take serious baby pictures
