My Talented Family

So my cousin in-law Sara is amazing. She is the one who helped me pull together my vision for our wedding invitations (which I loved). She is so talented at what she does. She just started a new companyA Vintage Poster  and everyone should check it out. These are a few of my favorites. I have my eyes on some and some ideas for custom ones. I hope lots of people take advantage of this before the deal ends on Friday!

Another Late Blog Post

Everyone except Mike at the top of Stewart Falls

 The Girls just chilling
 The Hubster and I
The lady taking this was suppose to get the whole waterfall. She didn't really do a good job with the execution.
There they are in all their glory. Mine is the one in the middle.

A few weeks ago we decided to spend the day outdoors, so we hiked Stewart Falls with some friends. It is actually more of a pleasant walk, but it was still really fun. I am trying to play catch up still so I'm sorry these are so late.

The O.C. Fair

The lovely pig at the fair. We missed the great picture of me petting the baby pigs. They were so cute. I almost wanted one until I saw what they would become.
Isn't he cute?
Our date night while we were in California
We decided we had to try one thing deep fried while we were there. We figured if we split it we wouldn't be totally killing ourselves. We had also gone running that day so we felt like it was deserved. We went for the fried Klondike bar.

These were our two favorite rides at the fair
These were the freaky Chinese acrobats that we watched twice because we thought it was so cool/ creepy

Yes I know I just did two blog posts but I am playing catch up. I have been a horrible blogger and the kids are all at school
Home Projects

I'm going to paint our front door blue and fix up our entry way. It is such a mess right now but has a lot of potential
I want to make silhouette pillows for our living room
I love this rug from anthro and I saw a great idea for embroidery and I am going to create some wall art with it.

I am loving chevron stripes right now and I really want to make something with this too. I think a wall may be too much for me right now but maybe some other cool feature. We will see how motivated I am

Since starting all the redecorating for the Wakefield house I have realized just how expensive my taste is. It really kind of sucks actually. So I have decided I need to be more artistic and create my own things for the house. I grew up in an artistic family and I love making things so this should be a pretty good plan. Here are a few of the things I have been thinking about doing. Some may take a really long time but I think they could be amazing! I promise pictures of the house are coming. Life has just been so crazy. I have only spent 1 day in my house in the past 2 and a half weeks. As soon as my parents get back from Denmark I promise to have a good update with pictures.

Babysitting

So I have been MIA for about 2 weeks now because mike and I have been on a babysitting marathon. The family that I nanny for had me babysit while the parents were in Paris for a week. My aunt Traci and my uncle Hans headed out for London on Saturday and so now we are in Provo for a week with them. My parents are heading out to Denmark so on Friday we go back up to Alpine to stay with Max and Josephine for a few days. It's been crazy and I am even starting to miss our house a little bit, which is a big deal because it usually freaks me out with all its noises. So once babysitting has died down just a little bit I will finally post our after pictures of the kitchen. Until then wish me luck !

My Life is Complete

So for a few months now I have been wanting to post pictures of our wedding but I couldn't. My Photographer Nicole Hill sent me an e-mail soon after we received our pictures from her telling me that Martha Stewart was going to feature our wedding on their website under Real Weddings. I might have freaked out at that very moment and called everyone I knew. The deal was that we had to wait for MS to feature the wedding before we could put any photos online. Last week I received a text from my friend Shauna telling me that she saw me on MS. So it is official my life long obsession with Martha Stewart has been fulfilled. These are just a few of the pictures and more posts will come but I just wanted to finally show some of the amazing photos taken by Nicole. Here are some links to see the features.
We are also going to be in the Utah Bride and Groom magazine that will come out in January.
