I'm an aunt!

Welcome to the Family Jayne

I just love this sweet little girl so much
Mom and baby both doing really well
Aww look at gramps holding Jayne

She was wide awake when we got to see her
Poor little girl looks like she has a black eye but she is still beautiful. Check out her gorgeous lips
My first time getting to hold sweet little Jayne. Is it bad that I am already missing her after one day

Baby Jayne

The Waiting Game...

We are hoping that this is the week little Jayne will make her grand arrival. It could possibly happen at any moment and we are all freaking out because we are so excited. She will be the very first grandchild in this family so I will officially become an aunt and my parents will become grandparents. We could not be happier and we hope to see her very very soon.

4th of July

Happy Independence Day

Red velvet cupcakes I made for the 4th

For the 4th we went down to Provo and had breakfast at the center street house. We watched the parade on the roof. Then we headed up to alpine for a cook out and swimming. Later that night we headed down for steve's game and then watched the fireworks from the back of my uncle Han's Unimog. It was a festive 4th!

ABC's

ABC's For You and Me

The other week my family went over to Ken and Annie's house for a little celebration. While I was there I peeked my head into their nursery and saw this cute ABC board up on the wall. A few days later I decided I was going to take a stab at it. So I got to work and actually popped out two. The second one I am going to wait to post because we are giving it as a present and I changed it since I last took pictures. This one I gave to my sister in-law Dayna for Jayne's nursery. It looks darling up in the room

Sweet BBQ

Cupcakes

The other day I decided to try these out for fun. I saw them on Bakerella and thought they looked very festive for summer time. They ended up being really cute but a few words of advice to those who make them. In order for the bun part of the burger to turn out better than mine, you need to find a recipe for a dense cupcake. I used a box one which was not the best idea but it did save time. The second thing is I used a white chocolate buttercream frosting, which is really good, but does not look as realistic for the lettuce. They ended up tasting really good and were pretty cute.
