Last week the fam headed over to PG for the strawberry days rodeo. It was Mikes first time and he pretty much had the best time of his life. Kwasi was also there for the first time and was loving the moto cross. It was a grand little family outing.

Since I have always been a huge fan of The Sound of Music this video hit a special place in my heart. I also think it is 

great because I hope for these types of moments in real life to happen to me someday.

9 Months

Mike and I have officially been dating for 9 Months today. I thought I would just put a little post up to say how great my wonderful little boyfriend is. He always helps me with my crazy projects and pretends to love doing it. He watches the food network and America's Next Top Model with me even though he hates it. He will go to places that only serve chick food just because I want to. He always tries to help me when I am having a sugar craving ( everyday). He puts up with so much and is the best. He is such a sweetheart. So here's to 9 whole months. I'm pretty impressed!

Sweet Baby Jayne

These were a few decorations on the door for the shower

I made these for Dayna. I wish I would have taken some closer pictures. The white one has little felt flowers cut out on it. The pink one has Jayne stitched on and a little yellow flower. The yellow one has a big ruffle going down it and the last one has a cute J on it.

Dayna is going to be a Mom!!

We made cute little labels to put on the mini martinelli's we used .

Hanging all the lanterns and parasols were so fun. They turned out so great and added such a fun touch to the whole room

We had really cute crystals hanging in-between the lanterns but you can't see them very well

I made a diaper cake to go along with our cute white chocolate and caramel cupcake favors.

Sorry my pictures are such bad quality. I promise it looked really cute. 

There is an E missing at the end of Jayne's name but that was because the day before it was lost in a wind storm. It also really bothers me that the yellow ribbon fell and I didn't fix it for the pictures in case anyone was wondering.

We did lanterns and parasols hanging from the roof. Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend Mike they looked amazing. He spent all afternoon stringing and hanging for me. He is just the best!

This is one of the tables we had set up. We got cute little pink baby carriages for some chocolate.

I love love love showers and this was the first time we got to put one of for a baby girl! My darling sister in-law is having a baby in a month and today we had a little celebration in her honor. I love throwing parties and decorating with fun springtime things. This was by far one of my favorite showers we have done.

Happy Birthday to Mom. We had an awesome little surprise get together for my mom's birthday on Sunday. My parents are going out of town for Javi's graduation so we had to do it a few days early. We got a couple really yummy cakes from Dippedi bakery in American Fork. 

I have a lot of projects I am working on and I will make more posts soon with all the stuff I have. I am going through a bit of a sewing phase right now so we will see how it all turns out.

Maryland My Love

My new dress!!! I made it with grandma a few days before I left. I loved it!!


I finally got to show Mike how beautiful the D.C. temple is in person. I also got my gold door picture so I am satisfied.

The morning before the wedding we went to the Richard's house and borrowed bikes to go down to great falls. It was beautiful and the water was so high because of all the rain.

We grabbed dinner at Potbelly's just down the street. It was amazing. The oreo shake was the best thing. They even give you cute little cookies on top

Botanical Garden in D.C.

Mike's first trip to the east coast was such a success. We hit as many things as we could in the short time that we were there. He loved it and it was so great to show him where I grew up.
More pictures to come later. I just really struggle with keeping my blog up to date. So I hope this makes up for awhile.

Sunshine

Mike and I just got back from California on Sunday night. This was the only weekend we didn't have any tests or assignments so we decided to head for some sun. It was a long drive but totally worth it. We went to the beach and hung out with his family. It was so great.
