My new dress!!! I made it with grandma a few days before I left. I loved it!!


I finally got to show Mike how beautiful the D.C. temple is in person. I also got my gold door picture so I am satisfied.

The morning before the wedding we went to the Richard's house and borrowed bikes to go down to great falls. It was beautiful and the water was so high because of all the rain.

We grabbed dinner at Potbelly's just down the street. It was amazing. The oreo shake was the best thing. They even give you cute little cookies on top

Mike's first trip to the east coast was such a success. We hit as many things as we could in the short time that we were there. He loved it and it was so great to show him where I grew up.
More pictures to come later. I just really struggle with keeping my blog up to date. So I hope this makes up for awhile.

Sunshine

Mike and I just got back from California on Sunday night. This was the only weekend we didn't have any tests or assignments so we decided to head for some sun. It was a long drive but totally worth it. We went to the beach and hung out with his family. It was so great.

So for the first time ever I had a good Valentines Day. I woke up that morning and walked into my sitting area to find hearts, candy and spirals hanging from my ceiling. Mike had come in at 4:45 ,before he had to go to work, to hang them. On each of the hearts were reasons why he likes me. It was awesome... I still have them up. Then he surprised me that night and took me up to the cabin where he had gone up with my 2 best friends and set up dinner. It was adorable and honestly such a great day. 

So here is our latest candy counter that we pulled together in 2 days. It was during the same week as Valentines Day so we didn't have a whole lot of time to work on details, but it was another success.

My New Dress!

So I have started sewing with grandma again this semester. This was my first project. I made this dress for a party that my friends were having in Park City. it turned out great and got a lot of  people coming up to me telling me how much they loved it!
