A Recap of My BYU Experience
Super Senior Year
Senior Year
Junior Year
Sophomore Year
Freshman Year
I did it!! I took my last sewing final at BYU and I graduate on Friday. I can't believe that I am done with BYU. I am not going to lie I am a little sad that it is over but I am excited to keep learning about sewing. My plans for now are to keep working at Trendy Tots and to also be a part of this internship that I got called The Fashion Genome Project where I will be working on a program that is similar to Pandora for clothing. I am really excited about it . I am hoping to take more art classes and sewing classes in the fall at the Art Institute. So thank you to everyone for all their support through the years.
I am happy to say I am a college graduate !!

My future husband is so great. Mike has been so wonderful through our whole engagement. He is so helpful and understanding with everything. I didn't get to see him much today and I missed him. He is so busy trying to do everything in his life so that he can spend more time with me. It's been a long time since I did a post about him so here is a little appreciation for my hunky fiance.

Wedding Season

I am under 3 months now until the big day. My wedding planners from Amorology were here this week and it was so wonderful to have them here. We got lots of planning done and had some great inspiration meetings. I am so excited for all the ideas and plans. I think it is going to be perfect. I still feel like there is not enough time to get everything done. I will keep everyone posted on all the plans and details. I apologize that I am the worst blogger right now. It seems like any free time I have I am doing wedding stuff. More to come soon.

Fashion Week
DKNY show
loved this skirt!

Betsey Johnson Show. The lights were so bright I couldn't get any good pictures
Displays at Bendels. I am determined to make one like this for the craft room with all the buttons and thread
So because i have the most wonderful uncle ever, who happens to have some of the most amazing connections, I was able to go to fashion week in NYC! It was incredible. I have never been to anything like it in my whole life. My pictures are terrible because they were taken on my phone and I still need to get the ones my cousins took on their cameras. The DKNY show was my favorite. It was so classy and clean. It really was beautiful. The Betsey Johnson show was a blast. The models were dancing and having a great time and then to top it off Betsey came out at the end in a onesie with a bejeweled heart on her butt and did a cartwheel. I loved it. We got some amazing shopping done for the wedding and went to some really great stores. I love New York. I keep telling Mike I will die happy if we could live there for just a little while. We got to go to Mood fabric and we found amazing stuff for wedding outfits. I was a fun trip with musicals shopping and fashion. Couldn't ask for a better time. So thanks mom and dad and thanks aunt holly and uncle jed. I appreciate it so much!

Things I LOVE

I decided to take my sister in-law Dayna's idea and do a post about things that I love right now. So here are a few things that I have been loving. More will follow.

This is the inspiration for my wedding cake that I am super excited about. We are using Carries cakes in Sandy and they seem like they are going to do a fabulous job
Cake bites from sweet tooth fairy. I love sugar in general but these things are heavenly.
I am always loving skirts but this cute yellow skirt from Kate Spade may be my next sewing project.

Sewing Projects

I am the worst blogger ever but I thought I would at least give a little update on my sewing and craft projects since I have gotten home. I have been making lots of headbands and I have sewn a few things. Wedding plans keep me pretty busy but I am trying to make time for projects so that I can let the stress out. I will take more pictures of the things I have made but at least here is a little bit of my inspiration.
This is my next project for little Jayner. I saw this picture and have been wanting to make them ever since. I think they will be darling on her.
This is my next project once I find the fabric that I like. I am planning on adding another layer to it for length reasons but I am really excited about this one.
So I made this skirt in a grey and white polka dot and I love it. It was a super simple pattern and then my grandma showed me how to make the bow. I love it! I made a blouse to go with it but I haven't taken a picture yet so that will come later.

Jerusalem if I forget you....
I am in the airport right now. It has been a hard past few days and I will never forget the time I spent here. I can't believe it is over but I know I have changed and this has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Shalom from Israel
